Business card QR codes (vCard): what to include
Short answer: name, company, job title, one or two phone numbers, email and website. Leave out what people do not need – fewer details make a simpler code that scans faster.

What to include
- First and last name – exactly as you want to appear in contacts.
- Company and job title.
- Mobile and/or office phone in international format (+1 305 …).
- Email and website.
- Address only if clients visit you.
On the card
- At least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in); 2.5 cm is more comfortable.
- On the back, with a short line: “Scan to save my contact”.
- Dark code on a light background, white border kept.
Questions
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes – both camera apps read vCard codes and offer to save the contact.
Can I add my photo?
A photo would make the code far too big. The dynamic contact page shows your initials in your brand colour instead.
