Printing
How small can I print a QR code?
As a rule: at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in), and about one tenth of the scanning distance (1 m away → 10 cm code). The print check under the preview shows the minimum for your design.
Which file should I send to the print shop?
PDF or EPS (vector – sharp at any size). SVG for web designers. PNG for screens, Word and social media.
My colours look different in print.
Screens show RGB colours; printers use CMYK. Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background.
Scanning
The code does not scan – what can I check?
Contrast (dark on light), size, a logo that is too big, a missing white border around the code, or a glossy surface reflecting light.
Do people need an app?
No. The camera app of iPhone and Android phones reads QR codes.
Your account
How do I log in?
No password needed: on My codes enter your email and we send you a login link (it works once, for 30 minutes).
How do I change a dynamic code?
My codes → Edit: change the content and save. Printed codes open the new content right away.
Can I change the design of a code I bought?
Yes, for free: My codes → Change design. The content stays the same; download the new image.
How do I cancel a plan?
My codes → Manage billing → Cancel. The plan runs to the end of the paid period.
